The City of Tuckerman recently partnered with Bell Construction Valves LLC to complete a comprehensive mapping, survey, and inventory of our city's fire hydrants, something that had not been thoroughly done in many years.
During the survey, several hydrants were identified as needing repairs due to leaking valves and other maintenance issues. Those repairs will be scheduled and completed in the near future.
As a result of this project, our Fire Department and City employees now have access to an interactive satellite map that allows them to quickly locate every fire hydrant and view its status with the click of a button. This technology will improve efficiency and help reduce response times during emergency calls.
We're committed to investing in the infrastructure and tools that help keep Tuckerman safe.

The City of Tuckerman is proud to announce that we now own our own four-stall dog kennel!
Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this project. Your generosity made it possible to replace the outdated, inadequate facility we previously relied on with a clean, safe kennel that will provide a comfortable place for stray animals while they are in our care.

Residents should have the opportunity to share what they would like to see from Brookfield and what benefits they believe should be provided to our community. Those priorities should be considered in any future discussions or agreements.

Agriculture is facing significant economic challenges, and for some families this opportunity may have been a way to preserve land and generational assets.

I encourage everyone to review the map, PILOT agreement, and allocation breakdown to gain a full understanding of the project and form opinions based on facts, not assumptions.
